  • 500 g Beef chuck(cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • 150 g Pearl barley(rinsed)
  • 2 medium Carrots(peeled and diced)
  • 3 medium Potatoes(peeled and cubed)
  • 1 large Onion(chopped)
  • 2 Celery stalks(chopped)
  • 3 Garlic cloves(minced)
  • 1.5 l Beef broth
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 2 tbsp Fresh dill(chopped, for garnish)
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
