  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 large Yellow onion(sliced)
  • 1 Red bell pepper(seeded and sliced)
  • 1 Green bell pepper(seeded and sliced)

  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 240 ml Tomato sauce(About 1 cup)
  • 120 ml Dry white wine(Optional, can substitute with beef broth)
  • 240 ml Beef broth(About 1 cup, plus more if needed)
  • 1/2 cup Pimento-stuffed green olives(halved)
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • for serving Cooked white rice
  • for serving Black beans
  • for serving Fried plantains(optional)
