  • 8 cups Water(divided)
  • 200 g Ayoyo Leaves (Jute Leaves)(fresh or frozen, chopped)

  • 4 medium Tomatoes(chopped)
  • 2 medium Onions(1 chopped, 1 blended)
  • 2-3 pieces Scotch Bonnet Peppers(to taste, blended)
  • 1 inch Ginger(blended)
  • 4 cloves Garlic(blended)
  • 1/2 cup Palm Oil
  • 1 tbsp Dawadawa (fermented locust beans)(optional)
  • 50 g Dried Fish (Herring or Mackerel)(optional)
  • to taste Salt
  • 1-2 pieces Seasoning Cubes(optional)
