- 1
Soak the soybeans in water for at least 10-12 hours or overnight. Drain and rinse.
ð¡ ããã®ã³ã: Soaking helps to soften the beans and reduce phytic acid. - 2
Place the soaked soybeans in a blender with 1.25 liters of water. Blend until smooth.
ð¡ ããã®ã³ã: You may need to blend in batches depending on the size of your blender. - 3
Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a saucepan. Discard the pulp.
ð¡ ããã®ã³ã: Ensure the sieve or cheesecloth is fine enough to catch all the solids. - 4
Bring the liquid to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
ð¡ ããã®ã³ã: Stirring prevents sticking and scorching. - 5
Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Stir in sugar to taste, vanilla extract, and nutmeg if desired.
ð¡ ããã®ã³ã: Adjust sweetness according to your preference. - 6
Pour into bottles or a pitcher and refrigerate. Serve chilled.
ð¡ ããã®ã³ã: The drink can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
