  • 5 cloves Garlic(minced)
  • 2 medium Carrots(peeled and sliced)
  • 2 medium Celery stalks(chopped)
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Coriander seeds(ground)
  • 1 tsp Cumin(ground)
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 small Cinnamon stick
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 500 ml Vegetable or lamb broth(or water)
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • for garnish Fresh cilantro or parsley
