In a large bowl, combine the lamb mince, grated kumara, chopped red onion, minced garlic, chopped fresh mint and coriander, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly with your hands until well combined.
💡 نصائح احترافية: Ensure the kumara is grated finely to integrate well with the lamb. - 2
Shape the mixture into small oval koftas, about 6-7 cm long. You should get approximately 16-20 koftas.
💡 نصائح احترافية: Dampen your hands slightly to prevent the mixture from sticking. - 3
Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan or on a grill over medium-high heat. Cook the koftas in batches for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.

Serve the lamb and kumara koftas warm with the mint yoghurt sauce on the side for dipping.
💡 نصائح احترافية: These koftas are also delicious served with a side of couscous or a fresh salad.
💡 نصائح احترافية
- ✓For a spicier kick, add a pinch of chilli flakes to the kofta mixture.
- ✓If you don't have fresh mint, you can substitute with dried mint, but use less as it's more potent.
- ✓Kumara can be steamed or boiled and mashed instead of grated if preferred, ensuring it's not too wet.
