  • 4 cups Basmati rice
  • 0.5 cup Ghee or vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 pieces Dried lime (loomi)(pierced)
  • 0.5 cup Raisins(soaked)
  • 0.5 cup Almonds or pine nuts(blanched and fried)
