  • 800 g Pork shoulder(cut into 2-inch cubes)
  • 2 large Onions(chopped)
  • 3 medium Carrots(peeled and chopped)
  • 2 medium Parsnips(peeled and chopped)
  • 2 Celery stalks(chopped)
  • 500 g Potatoes(peeled and cut into chunks)
  • 4 cloves Garlic(minced)
  • 2 tbsp Sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 750 ml Beef or vegetable broth
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1 tsp Marjoram(dried)
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil or lard
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley
