  • 2 cups Long-grain rice(rinsed well)
  • 500 g Potatoes(peeled and cut into 1cm thick slices)
  • 3 large Tomatoes(sliced 1.5cm thick)
  • 1 large Onion(roughly chopped)
  • 5 heaped tsp Whole cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 1 cube Chicken stock(dissolved in 2 cups hot water)
  • 80 g Butter(cut into small cubes)
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste White pepper
