- 700 g Beef stew meat(cut into 1-inch cubes)
- 150 g Peanut butter (unsweetened)
- 1 large Onion(chopped)
- 3 cloves Garlic cloves(minced)
- 2 medium Tomatoes(chopped)
- 2 medium Carrots(sliced)
- 2 medium Potatoes(cubed)
- 150 g Green beans(trimmed and cut)
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 750 ml Beef broth or water
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black pepper
- 1 Bay leaf

Season beef cubes with salt and pepper. In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Brown the beef in batches, then set aside.

In the same pot, reduce heat to medium and sauté the chopped onion until softened, about 5-7 minutes.

Add minced garlic and chopped tomatoes. Cook for another 5 minutes until tomatoes start to break down.

Return the browned beef to the pot. Pour in the beef broth or water, add the bay leaf, and bring to a simmer.
