  • 1 whole Chicken(cut into pieces, skin removed)
  • 2 large Onion(chopped)
  • 4 cloves Garlic(finely chopped)
  • 1 cup Peanut butter(unsalted, natural)
  • 2 large Tomatoes(chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 stalk Celery(diced)
  • 3 Carrots(peeled and cut into halves)
  • 2 medium Potatoes(cut into quarters)
  • 1 large Sweet potato(cut into quarters)
  • 0.25 head Cabbage(shredded)
  • 1 Green bell pepper(diced)
  • 1 Chili pepper(fresh or dried, to taste)
  • 4 cups Water
  • 1 Chicken stock cube
  • 1 tsp Salt(or to taste)
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper(freshly ground, or to taste)

    Heat olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add chicken pieces and brown them lightly on all sides. Remove chicken and set aside.

    In the same pot, sauté chopped onions until softened, then add chopped garlic, diced celery, and diced green bell pepper. Cook for a few more minutes until fragrant.
