  • 1 medium Onion(chopped)
  • 3 cloves Garlic(minced)

  • 1 tablespoon Tomato paste
  • 3 cups Chicken or vegetable broth
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 0.25 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 0.1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper(or to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt(or to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro(chopped, for garnish)

    Heat vegetable oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add chopped onion and bell pepper and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
