Mish me Pruna dhe Qepë (Meat with Prunes and Onions)

- 1 kg Lamb shoulder or beef chuck(cut into 2-inch cubes)
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- 3 Large onions(sliced)
- 4 cloves Garlic(minced)
- 250 g Dried prunes(pitted)
- 500 ml Beef broth or water
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1 Cinnamon stick

- 2 tbsp Fresh parsley(chopped, for garnish)

Pat the meat dry and season generously with salt and pepper.

Heat olive oil in a large Dutch oven or heavy-bottomed pot over medium-high heat. Brown the meat in batches on all sides, then remove and set aside.

Add the sliced onions to the pot and cook until softened and lightly browned, about 10-15 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.

Return the meat to the pot. Add the pitted prunes, beef broth (or water), bay leaf, and cinnamon stick. Bring to a simmer.
