  • 1.5 kg Beef chuck roast(cut into 2-inch cubes)
  • 3 large Onions(chopped)
  • 6 Garlic cloves(minced)
  • 2 medium Carrots(diced)
  • 2 Celery stalks(diced)
  • 3 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 250 ml Dry red wine
  • 750 ml Beef broth
  • 2 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Sweet paprika
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 4 Allspice berries
  • 3 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp All-purpose flour
  • to taste Salt
