  • 1 inch piece Ginger(grated)
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp Curry powder
  • 1 tsp Thyme(dried)
  • 1 leaf Bay leaf
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • 1 small Optional: Scotch bonnet pepper(finely chopped, for heat)
