  • 500 g Phyllo dough
  • 400 g Walnuts or pistachios(finely chopped)
  • 250 g Butter(melted)
  • 300 g Sugar
  • 250 ml Water
  • 120 ml Honey
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice

    Brush phyllo sheets with butter, layer half in pan.

    Spread nut mixture. Layer remaining phyllo, buttering each.

    Cut into diamonds. Bake at 175Β°C until golden.

    ⏱️ 45 minutes

    Make syrup: boil sugar, water, honey, lemon. Pour hot over baked baklava.
