Faschierte Laibchen, also known as Austrian meat patties or rissoles, are a classic comfort food made from a mixture of ground meat, soaked bread, onions, and spices, then pan-fried until golden brown. They are typically served with mashed potatoes.

- 1 piece Stale bread roll(or about 1 cup breadcrumbs)
- 100 ml Milk(for soaking bread)
- 1 medium Onion(finely chopped)
- 30 g Butter(for frying onions)
- 600 g Ground meat(mixture of beef and pork)
- 1 large Egg
- 10 g Parsley(fresh, finely chopped)
- 2 tsp Marjoram(dried)
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Black pepper(freshly ground)
- 50 g Breadcrumbs(for coating)
- for frying Vegetable oil

Soak the bread roll in milk until soft, then squeeze out excess liquid and mix into crumbs.
