  • 500 g Beef or goat meat(cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 100 g Smoked fish(cleaned and flaked)
  • 1 large Onion(chopped)
  • 400 g Tomatoes(chopped or pureed)
  • 1 inch piece Ginger(grated)
  • 3 cloves Garlic(minced)
  • 1-2 Scotch bonnet pepper(to taste, whole or chopped)
  • 1.5 liters Water
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
