Pogača sa Maslinama i Rujnom Paprikom
A savory, rustic bread, this Pogača is enriched with the briny flavor of olives and the subtle smoky-sweetness of dried rujna paprika (a type of sweet red pepper). It's perfect as a side dish or a light meal.

- 500 g All-purpose flour
- 250 ml Warm milk
- 7 g Active dry yeast
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1.5 tsp Salt
- 1 large Eggs(beaten, for dough)
- 50 ml Vegetable oil
- 100 g Pitted black olives(chopped)
- 2 tbsp Dried rujna paprika (sweet red pepper flakes)
- 1 large Egg yolk(beaten with 1 tbsp milk, for brushing)

In a small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.

In a large bowl, whisk together flour and salt. Make a well in the center.

Pour the yeast mixture, beaten egg, and vegetable oil into the well. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
