  • 1 tsp Salt(or to taste)
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper(freshly ground, or to taste)
  • 0.25 tsp Nutmeg(freshly grated, optional)

    Place the quartered potatoes in a large pot, cover with cold salted water, and bring to a boil. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until tender.
