- 3 large Green plantains(peeled and cut into 1.5-inch thick rounds)
- for frying Vegetable oil
- 1 lb Shrimp(peeled, deveined, and chopped)
- 2 cloves Garlic(minced)
- 0.25 cup Onion(finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp Bell pepper(finely chopped)
- 0.25 cup Tomato sauce
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp Lime juice
- 2 tbsp Cilantro(chopped)
- to taste Salt and black pepper
- 2 tbsp Mayonnaise(optional, for binding)

Fry the plantain rounds in hot vegetable oil until lightly golden and tender, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
