  • 500 g Lamb stew meat or cubed beef(cut into 1-inch pieces)
  • 800 g Frozen sliced okra
  • 1 medium Yellow onion(finely diced)
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 6 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 8 cloves Garlic cloves(roughly chopped)
  • 1.5 tsp Ground coriander
  • 1.5 tsp Ground cumin
  • 0.5 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1.5 tsp Salt(divided, or to taste)
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper(freshly ground, or to taste)
  • 400 g Diced tomatoes(canned, undrained)
  • 6 cups Water(or more as needed)
