🧂 Ingredients
- 1 lb Large Shrimp(peeled, deveined, and patted dry (about 10-12 per lb))
- 4 cloves Garlic(minced)
- 0.25 cup Green Onions(chopped, for garnish and sautéing)
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 8 oz Noodles(such as spaghetti, linguine, or egg noodles)
- 1.5 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
- 1.5 tbsp Oyster Sauce
- 2 tsp Shaoxing Wine
- 1 tsp Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Sesame Oil
- 0.5 tsp White Pepper
- 1 tsp Cornstarch(mixed with 2 tsp water for slurry)
- 0.5 tsp Salt(or to taste)
👨🍳 Instructions
- 1
Cook noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain, reserving about 1/4 cup of the pasta water. Toss noodles with 1 tsp of sesame oil to prevent sticking.
- 2
While noodles are cooking, season the shrimp with salt and white pepper. In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp butter over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes per side, until pink and just cooked through. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
- 3
In the same skillet, melt the remaining 3 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped green onions (reserving some for garnish). Sauté for about 30-60 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
- 4
Add the cooked noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, Shaoxing wine, and brown sugar to the skillet. Toss well to combine.
- 5
Pour in the reserved pasta water and the cornstarch slurry. Stir continuously until the sauce thickens and coats the noodles.
- 6
Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet. Toss everything together for another minute until the shrimp is heated through. Garnish with fresh green onions and serve immediately.
💡 Pro Tips

- ✓Adjust the amount of sauce ingredients to your preference.
🔄 Variations
