Palauan Breadfruit Fritters
Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, these fritters are made from mashed breadfruit, seasoned, and fried to golden perfection. A popular snack or side dish.

🧂 Ingredients
- 2 medium Breadfruit(peeled, cored, and boiled until tender)
- 1/4 cup Coconut milk
- 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- for frying Vegetable oil

Boil the peeled and cored breadfruit until fork-tender. Drain well and mash thoroughly in a large bowl.

Add coconut milk, flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder to the mashed breadfruit. Mix until just combined to form a thick batter. Do not overmix.

Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a deep pan or pot over medium-high heat until it reaches approximately 350°F (175°C).

Carefully drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil. Do not overcrowd the pan.
