- 500 g All-purpose flour
- 150 g Granulated sugar
- 100 g Butter(softened)
- 2 large Eggs
- 120 ml Milk(lukewarm)
- 7 g Active dry yeast
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 0.5 tsp Nutmeg
- 0.25 tsp Cardamom
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 50 g Raisins(optional)
- 1 egg Egg wash(beaten with 1 tbsp milk, for brushing)

In a small bowl, combine lukewarm milk, yeast, and a pinch of sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.

In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
