  • 800 g Frozen okra (bamies)
  • 3 sliced Small onions
  • 6 sliced Garlic cloves
  • 2 roughly chopped Carrots
  • 2 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1 tsp Dried parsley
  • 1 tsp Dried thyme
  • 1 thumb-sized piece Cinnamon bark
  • 800 g Tinned chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 2 tsp Vegetable or chicken stock powder
  • 3-4 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt

  • ✓If using fresh okra, wash and trim the stalks without cutting into the okra to prevent sliminess. You can optionally sun-dry fresh okra slightly to reduce sliminess.
