💡 Pro Tips
- ✓For a more authentic flavor, use freshly grated coconut. If using desiccated coconut, rehydrate it with a little warm water or coconut milk.
- ✓Adjust the amount of chili to your spice preference. For a milder version, remove the seeds and membranes from the chili.
- ✓Some variations include adding finely chopped curry leaves or a small amount of finely chopped ripe tomato.
🔄 Variations
- Vegetarian/Vegan: Substitute tuna with mashed ripe avocado or finely chopped firm tofu, and ensure no fish products are used.
- Additions: Some recipes include finely chopped curry leaves or a small amount of finely chopped ripe tomato for added flavor and texture.
