- 2 medium Tomatoes(chopped, or 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes)
- 1 medium Bell pepper(any color, chopped)
- 1 medium Carrot(diced)
- 2 cups Chicken broth
- 2 tbsp Tomato paste
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper or chili powder(or to taste)

Heat vegetable oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and brown on all sides. Remove chicken and set aside.
