Kip Kerrie met Rijst

- 500 g Chicken breast or thighs(cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 1 large Onion(chopped)
- 2 cloves Garlic(minced)
- 1 tsp Ginger(grated)
- 2 tbsp Curry powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric
- 400 ml Coconut milk
- 100 ml Chicken broth
- 1 medium Apple(peeled, cored, and diced)
- 50 g Raisins
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- to taste Salt
- to taste Pepper
- as needed Cooked rice(for serving)

Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sautรฉ until softened, about 5-7 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and cook for another minute until fragrant.

Stir in the curry powder and turmeric, and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly, until fragrant.

Add the chicken pieces to the pan and cook until lightly browned on all sides.

Pour in the coconut milk and chicken broth. Add the diced apple and raisins. Bring to a simmer.
