Hibiscus Drink
Bissap is a refreshing and vibrant drink made from dried hibiscus flowers, offering a tart and slightly sweet flavor. It's a popular beverage across West Africa, often enjoyed chilled.

- 1 cup Dried hibiscus flowers (sorrel)
- 2.5 liters Water
- 0.5 cup Fresh mint leaves
- 1 cup Sugar(or to taste)
- 1 packet Vanilla flavored sugar(optional)
- 1 tbsp Strawberry flavored syrup(optional)

Rinse the dried hibiscus flowers and mint leaves under cold water.

In a large pot, combine the rinsed hibiscus, mint leaves, and 2.5 liters of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

Remove the pot from heat and let it cool down slightly. Strain the liquid into a bowl, discarding the solids.

Stir in the sugar, vanilla flavored sugar (if using), and strawberry flavored syrup (if using). Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Taste and adjust sweetness as needed.
