- 250 g All-purpose flour
- 50 g Cornstarch
- 2 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 1 tsp Dried thyme
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 2 large Eggs
- 100 ml Milk
- for frying Vegetable oil or Lard(enough for deep frying)

In a shallow dish, whisk together flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.

In another shallow dish, whisk the eggs and milk together.

Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels. Dredge each piece first in the egg mixture, letting excess drip off, then coat thoroughly in the flour mixture, pressing to adhere.

Heat the oil or lard in a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pot to 175ยฐC (350ยฐF). Ensure there's enough oil to submerge the chicken pieces.

Carefully place chicken pieces into the hot oil, being careful not to overcrowd the pot. Fry in batches for about 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 74ยฐC (165ยฐF).
