Chicken with Plums and Herbs

- 300 g Plums(ripe, halved and pitted)
- 2 medium Onions(sliced)
- 4 cloves Garlic(minced)
- 200 ml Chicken broth

- 1 tsp Dried savory (chubritsa)
- 0.5 tsp Dried thyme
- 1 Bay leaf
- 2 tbsp Sunflower oil

Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.

Heat sunflower oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Brown the chicken thighs on all sides until golden. Remove chicken and set aside.

Add the minced garlic, dried savory, dried thyme, and bay leaf. Cook for another minute until fragrant.

Pour in the white wine (if using) and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pot. Let it simmer for 2 minutes.

Return the chicken thighs to the pot. Add the chicken broth and enough water to partially cover the chicken. Bring to a simmer.
