  • 2 medium Onions(finely chopped)
  • 4 cloves Garlic(minced)
  • 1 inch piece Ginger(grated)
  • 10 leaves Curry leaves
  • 1 inch Cinnamon stick
  • 3 pods Cardamom pods
  • 3 pieces Cloves
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • 0.5 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 200 ml Coconut milk
  • 3 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • Salt(to taste)
  • 4 large Banana leaves(wilted over flame)
  • For Frikadels (Meatballs):
  • 250 g Ground beef or chicken
  • 1 small Onion(finely chopped)
  • 50 g Breadcrumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • For Eggplant Moju (optional side):
  • 1 medium Eggplant(cubed and fried)
  • 1 small Onion(sliced)
  • 2 green Chili peppers(sliced)
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
