  • 1-2 Chili pepper (malagueta or similar)(to taste, finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp Salt(to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper(to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 2 cups Water(or chicken broth)
  • 2-3 tbsp Cassava flour (fubá de bombo)(optional, for thickening)
