Musakhan Rolls
Tender chicken marinated in sumac and spices, rolled in taboon bread (or lavash/tortillas), and baked until golden. A popular appetizer or light meal, often served with a side of yogurt.

- 1/4 cup Olive oil
- 3 tbsp Sumac
- 1 tsp Baharat (or 7-spice blend)
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 2 medium Large yellow onions(thinly sliced)
- 6 pieces Taboon bread (or lavash/large tortillas)
- 1/4 cup Pine nuts(toasted)
- 1/4 cup Fresh parsley(chopped)

Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).

In a bowl, combine chicken thighs, olive oil, sumac, baharat, salt, and pepper. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.

In a skillet, sautรฉ the sliced onions in a little olive oil over medium heat until softened and lightly caramelized.

Cook the marinated chicken in the same skillet until browned and cooked through. Shred the chicken.

Mix the shredded chicken with the sautรฉed onions.
