  • 1 cup Olive oil(good quality)
  • 4 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 full Lemon juice(freshly squeezed)
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tsp Arabic 7 spice
  • 1 tsp Salt(or to taste)
  • 8 cloves Garlic(crushed)
  • 6 Whole garlic cloves(peeled, for layering in the pot)
  • 1 large Onion(sliced medium thickness, optional)
  • 1 large Potato(sliced medium thickness, optional)
  • 2 tbsp Pomegranate molasses(for the cooking liquid)
