- 700 g Chicken(cut into pieces)
- 2 cups Yogurt(thick, hung curd preferred)
- 100 ml Cream
- 8 whole Green chilies(deseeded and finely chopped)
- 2 tsp White pepper powder
- 4 tsp Ginger paste
- 4 tsp Garlic paste
- 60 ml Vinegar
- as required Butter(for basting)
- to taste Salt
- 100 g Cashew nuts(soaked and ground into a paste)
- 1 large Onions(finely sliced)
- 3 tbsp Ghee or oil
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Red chili powder
- 1 tsp Garam masala
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 2 tbsp Tomato puree

Marinate the chicken pieces with vinegar, chopped green chilies, white pepper powder, ginger paste, garlic paste, and salt. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the thick yogurt and cream until smooth.
