- 100 g Green beans(trimmed and cut)
- 3 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1 tsp Ginger(freshly grated)
- 1 tsp Ground cumin
- 1 tsp Ground coriander
- 0.5 tsp Chili flakes(or to taste)
- 0.5 tsp Salt(or to taste (cod is salty))
- 0.5 tsp Black pepper(freshly ground)
- 2 tbsp Fresh cilantro or parsley(chopped, for garnish)

Rinse the salt cod thoroughly under cold water. Place in a large bowl and cover with cold water. Soak for at least 12-24 hours in the refrigerator, changing the water 2-3 times, until most of the salt is removed. Drain and cut the cod into bite-sized pieces.

Heat vegetable oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until softened and translucent, about 5-7 minutes.

Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped bell pepper, and diced carrot. Cook for another 5 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften.
