- 4 cloves Garlic(minced)
- 1 inch piece Ginger(grated)
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder

- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 0.5 tsp Black pepper

- 3 tbsp Fresh lemon juice
- 0.25 cup Fresh cilantro(chopped, plus more for garnish)
- 1 Dried lime (loomi)(pierced, optional)

In a bowl, combine the fish pieces with olive oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, turmeric, cumin, coriander, black pepper, salt, and lemon juice. Gently toss to coat the fish evenly. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.

If using dried lime, pierce it a few times with a fork or knife. Add the marinated fish, chopped cilantro, and the pierced dried lime (if using) to a skillet or pot.
